EXP: 5 Self-Defense Moves Every Woman Should Know | HER Network (youtube.com)

1.       When your arm is grabbed,

a.       What other options do you have?

b.       What is your best disabling target?

2.       Once they get close, stay close.  The transition to RNC is right there.

3.       If they grab you by the hair, what does that mean?

4.       Our headlock escape is a bit different.  Why?

5.       If you go down, [throw them or] get them in your guard.

5:15-5:45  Advance CHTK Striking Development Drills

2 Evs x 15 Rds = 30 Rds x 0:45/0:15 = 30:00

·         For those that can Spar, put in your mouthpieces and work the drills on the Odd rounds.  Run the drill three times while one strikes and one defends, then switch.  On the Even rounds, Touch Spar.  Go “touch” light so you work precision, purposeful combinations.

·         Newer students, we will use the bags to run through the 15 round Development Drill twice.  On the Odd 1,2… rds, I recommend that you Shadow Box the 1,2… while you watch the other students Spar.  Watch how and when they strike as well as how they defend.  This will give you a better idea of the combination application and how you should be moving on both sides of the punch.
