BJJ Professor

Darren Truner

Professor Darren Turner has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2006.

Then under Professor Jerry Boroff in 2009 and Master Carlos Machado and achieved his Black Belt on October 12, 2019. Mr. Turner has also done 6 years of American Karate and 4 years of kickboxing.

Catch wrestling under Hank Morgan early 2004. He has taught and coached several sports for many years including soccer and basketball.

Professor Turner is also an Eagle Scout and spent four years in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Brent Slaughter

Beginning his journey in 1992, Brent Slaughter is a former Force Reconnaissance Marine, OIF Veteran and SWAT Police Officer who transitioned to the private security industry in 2013.

From compiling threat assessments, intelligence briefs and procurement strategies for enhancing safety to providing direct Close Protection of VIPs and high-profile events, Brent’s 30+ years of experience bring a comprehensive base of skills to any detail.

 

Brent is a reliable source of information, training and resources for addressing risk mitigation concerns, occupational and personal safety initiatives, structural defense, asset and personal protection, holistic loss prevention, disaster preparation and long-term sustainment practices.
