Three simple steps…Positive Control, Ammo, Action

Positive Control – ensure that you have a good grip on the pistol that allows you to operate the action while keeping the firearm pointed in a safe direction

Ammo – ensure the pistol is clear of all ammunition and ammunition sources by visually and physically clearing the

• Magazine Well / Cylinder

• Breach and Chamber

Action – cycle the action to

• Ensure that all portions of the pistol are clear

• Lock the breach open to “Show Clear” to others in the area
